“Extraordinaire" - TripAdvisor
Kayaking with Jim from Kayak Powell for 3 days was certainly one of our highlights during our trip to Utah and the Grand Canyon. He is an excellent guide, knows the area really well and can certainly share his passion and experience about kayaking. We had the chance to kayak into 2 slot canyons which he new really well. We give a 10/10 for his company and guidance, the food, the logistic and his knowledge of the area. We certainly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience Lake Powell closely.

“Kayak Lake Powell was great” - TripAdvisor
A three-hour sunset tour of Lake Powell by kayak (www.kayakpowell.com) sounded perfect, and Jim did not disappoint. We experienced some wind and water turbulence at the start because of a passing storm (common, we now understand), but the balance of the afternoon/evening was filled with dramatic vistas and engaging conversation. This was not the usual touristy thing. Jim knows the lake and customizes the experience to match the interests and skill levels of the participants. Next time, I might do one of his full-day or overnight trips. This was our third visit to Page, AZ. It's an ideal hub for spectacular day trips to some of the best locales in the southwest. Treat yourself to a few hours of unforgettable kayaking with Jim to make your visit extra special. And if your kayak experience is limited, Jim will tailor the trip to match your abilities. Talk to him before you book anything on Lake Powell or nearby Glen Canyon. Also see Jim's facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/KayakPowell. Incidentally, we are both seniors and my wife has a physically disability.

“Great gear, fun trip" - TripAdvisor
Just wanted to express my gratitude after kayaking for three days on Lake Powell. The boats were great, no trouble with gear, and it was especially nice to have Jim recommend a route for a three day trek. We had a blast, the water was warm and even on labor day weekend we were able to find some pretty remote camping spots. cheers
