Summer Nighter
We created this trip for those who visit Lake Powell during the hotter summer months and want an experience of camping out under the stars away from it all. This trip beats the heat - we start later in the day and end before the heat kicks in on day two. Includes all camping equipment and two meals.

A smart choice if you want a fun night of camping on the lake and a family-friendly itinerary.  A sample itinerary:

• Meet at Stateline at 3:00pm and paddle 2 or 3 miles to your campsite in Ice Cream Canyon, with a stop for a beach swim along the way. After dinner, the sunset, and dessert, get ready for another treat as the stars come out and the coyotes howl! The next morning we'll paddle to the Wahweap Window, where you'll enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast in the rare and always appreciated shade. You'll arrive back at Stateline at 11am approximately.

The tour departs from Stateline boat ramp.  We will meet at the information booth at the top of the ramp before heading down to the landing.  Directions will be provided in your confirmation email.  We encourage participants to arrange a time to stop by our office in Page the day before departure to pickup drybags and review final details.

The guide will match the trip pace and itinerary to best match the group's abilities and interests.  Five to nine miles of paddling is typical.   There are bathroom facilities at the landing.  A camp toilet will be provided during the tour. 

Price per person includes guide, all kayaking and camping equipment, and 2 meals.  Park entrance fee not included ($15 per vehicle).
