Price: $279 for up to 2 people ($139.50 each), each additional person $79

A great choice if you want a good amount of time on the water and a plenty of variety. The trip is offered at the following two times:

  • The Breakfast and a Paddle is typically from 6am - 12:30pm.  Our recommended choice from May through mid October. Enjoy the beautiful morning colors, cooler temperatures, and calmest conditions. A breakfast of southwest burritos, fruit, juice and coffee will be served between 7-8am. Explore Wiregrass Canyon with the opportunity to visit a natural arch and spot wild sheep. Explore the many islands of Wahweap Bay, glide silently under massive cliffs, and investigate some of the numerous narrow side canyons.  Then there's always Lone Rock itself, which is impressive! Meet at Lone Rock beach.  Other times available upon request.
  • The Lunch and a Paddle is typically from 8:30am-3pm. Our recommended choice in March, April, late October, and November. Climb a sand dune for spectacular overlook of the lake, paddle along cliffs and spot the scurrying lizards, get a closer look at some of the spectacular rock formations that bless the Castle Rock region.  Enjoy your meal at the Wahweap Window. Not only is it an amazing geological feature, but it offers shade too! Meet at Stateline boat ramp information booth.  Other times available upon request.

The breakfast tour departs from Lone Rock Beach.  We will meet in the parking lot before heading down to the beach. The lunch tour departs from either Lone Rock Beach or Stateline boat ramp.  Directions will be provided in your confirmation email.  Free transportation is available to and from Page on request, so just let us know and be ready to depart 30 minutes before the trip start time.

The guide will match the trip pace and itinerary to best match the group's abilities and interests.  Five to eight miles of paddling is typical.  The lunch tour that departs from Stateline is the more challenging of the two since it involves a longer open water crossing, more waves, hotter temperatures, and a bit more paddling.  Both tours will include opportunities to explore on land and, from June-October, a chance to swim.  There are bathroom facilities at the landing.  A "wag bag" style camp toilet will be provided during the tour.

Price per person includes guide, all kayak equipment, water, and a camp style meal. Park entrance fee not included ($15 per vehicle).
