We are proud to offer a Colorado river float trip option.This incredibly scenic stretch of flat water on the Colorado river offers some of the best scenery in Glen Canyon rec area. This is a beginner friendly no rapids stretch of water that will demand you have your camera ready at all times. With ancient petroglyphs left by ancestral puebloans and desert flowers and trees you will have unlimited things to photograph. This is a unique self guided trip that can be done in about 5 hours with a small current. You may also consider extending your rental to an overnight and enjoying the tremendous star gazing offered on clear nights. There are toilets where the camping is allowed for your convenience. You will meet the shuttle company at the dock in the morning and float back to your vehicle when finished. The river sees very little traffic and this is a great option.
If you are hiking the Paria River, Buckskin Gulch, Wirepass Canyon you may need a shuttle back to your car. Usually we start you out with the shuttle, leaving your car at the destination, so your vehicle is waiting for you whenever you finish your hike. You will need permits to hike Paria Canyon from the BLM. Overnight use is limited by permit. Lees Ferry shuttle to Whitehouse trailhead is $150. (price is for up to 4 persons with gear.Custom shuttles also available). Please call in advance for reservations.
